We've helped plan, design and project-manage thousands of challenging projects for clients with stringent budget, schedule and quality requirements. One of the Southeast's fastest-growing firms, our multidisciplinary staff works collaboratively with clients on a local, regional, and national basis across dozens of industries.

Our Team
Britt Peters' registered professional engineers and support team are responsible for designing structures for a wide range of building types and physical infrastructure networks. Our highly credentialed staff is licensed in 46 states and affiliated with professional organizations including the American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Concrete Institute (ACI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), National Council of Examiners for Engineering & Surveying (NCEES), Precast Concrete Institute (PCI) and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
History and Leadership
With roots tracing to its founding by Edward Britt in 1968, today’s Britt, Peters and Associates was formally established in 1993. It is owned and operated by four principals – Mark Peters, John Connelly, Steven Dover and Jason McDonald – all professional engineers, and all sharing the same philosophy. We take a businessman's perspective to engineering solutions, treating every dollar as if it were our own and we do so with a service ethic that clients often tell us is distinctive, enjoyable and refreshing.
