Dennis is the Division Manager for the Norfolk, VA office of BPA. He has completed structural design on various types of buildings across the country, utilizing a variety of materials and foundation types. In additional to ground up design, Dennis excels in complicated re-use projects and modifications to existing buildings. He has experience in a wide variety of project types, including residential, multi-family, educational, commercial, industrial, building structural assessments, Special Inspections, and federal.
Dennis is registered in eight states and has designed projects throughout the United States, including Alaska, and has over 20 years of experience. Dennis graduated in 1999 from Manhattan College with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and in 2001 from Clemson University with an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Dennis’ Master’s Thesis titled "Wind Uplift Forces on Roof Canopies" was used as a reference in ASCE 7 Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures.
