Britt, Peters and Associates provided civil design services for this aging building that had to be entirely gutted and redesigned. Former parking areas were reengineered and an elaborate new entryway was designed. The museum is accredited LEED Silver and features programs and exhibits designed to help educate children and adults in environmental awareness.
