Aiken Government Center

Britt, Peters and Associates was the structural engineer for the new 3-story 130,000 sf administration building. The structure is framed with composite metal deck supported by Diversakore structural framing members. Project also included a basement with cast in place retaining/basement walls. The facility includes the Magistrate Court, Solicitor’s Offices, Victim Advocate Offices, and Long-Term Records Storage. The center also features a 200-seat council chambers, 150-seat training room, and state-of-the-art emergency operations center.
