Britt, Peters was hired by McMillan Pazdan Smith to design the structure of Upward’s new indoor athletic facility including a 120,000 square foot multi-sports facility. The space has six full-size basketball courts and 12 regulation-size indoor volleyball courts. Indoor batting cages, golf swing analysis, running track, and a gym with cardio and weight equipment, dance studios, cheerleading, yoga, aerobics and more.

Britt, Peters and Associates was the structural engineer for the new Administration Building for Aiken County, a 3-story building with an approximate footprint of 45,000 SF, with a gross square footage of approximately 135,000 SF. The 20-acre site is a parcel of a +/- 76–acre tract of undeveloped County land on University Parkway. The structure is Diversakore® columns and beams with DeepDek composite slab on metal deck. The seismic force resisting system is concrete moment frames utilizing the Diversakore beams and columns. The combination of the Diversakore® and DeepDek system gives the client an open floor plan and a shallow structural depth.
