Robert Davis is a Registered Professional Engineer with primary responsibility for managing the firm’s Florence (SC) office. Robert gets involved in projects encompassing a broad array of market and facility types, including commercial, industrial, military, and public works structures; water and wastewater plants; pump stations; vaults, crane and equipment maintenance facilities; office buildings; laboratories; and aircraft hangars. His designs incorporate a wide range of structural systems, including steel, masonry, cast-in-place concrete, precast and prestressed concrete, wood, and fiber-reinforced plastics. Robert is expert at analyzing these systems for loadings, including wind, earthquake, wheeled traffic, and cranes and material handling systems. He has specific experience in industrial facility renovation, particularly those where major structural challenges are identified during the life of the project.
