Jason McDonald is a principal of Britt, Peters and Associates with primary responsibility for managing the firm’s Charleston (SC) branch office. A significant portion of his professional work has involved providing engineering design and drawings for a wide range of industrial, commercial, educational, institutional, residential and military projects. Jason has specific expertise in the areas of structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design, as well as site design, storm drainage, and general civil engineering. A Registered Professional Engineer in five states, his extensive experience with coastal construction for residential and commercial applications has led to a variety of innovative design solutions for withstanding hurricane force winds, wave action, and earthquake forces.
